- Evil, unbelieving heart means more than superficial or accidental sin; it refers to a heart that refuses to believe God.
- Hebrews 3:14 : The point here is not of salvation being lost once it is obtained; it is that salvation that is obtained will persevere through the ups and downs, all the way to the end.
