Ramifications of the resurrection from 1st Corinthians 15:14-19

- Verse 14 – Without the resurrection, our preaching is in vain.

- Because of the resurrection, our preaching of the gospel is meaningful, valuable, significant, and life-changing.

- Because of the resurrection, our faith is well-founded.

- Verse 15 – Without the resurrection, we are false witnesses.

- Because of the resurrection, our testimony about Jesus is true.

- Verse 17 – Without the resurrection, “your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins”.

- Because of the resurrection, through faith in Jesus, we are forgiven.

- Verse 18 – Without the resurrection, those who have “fallen asleep in Christ have perished”.

- Because of the resurrection, those who have died in faith are alive and will live forever in heaven.

- Verse 19 – Without the resurrection, “we are of all men most to be pitied”.

- Because of the resurrection, a life lived in devotion to and in obedience to Jesus is not wasted, but impactful and enviable.
