Genesis 34
- Assimilation with the world is a great danger facing God’s people
- The world is seeking to disciple you, and your family
- There is an ongoing spiritual conflict and we must stay engaged
- Casual Christians become Christian casualties
Questions to ask ourselves:
- Is my life, and the life of my family, about pleasing God or fitting in?
- Am I more concerned with how sin offends God, or with how I may seem offensive to other people?
- Am I entangled with the world in such a way that the world is shaping me more than I am shining as a light in the world?
- Am I choosing comfort and convenience over conviction and character?
